Sin embargo, actualmente se esta viendo la posibilidad de combinar el área residencial de los padres mayores con hijo/a discapacitado, esta combinación es un área residencia en el que conviven los padres mayores con sus propias necesidades y los hijos discapacitados con unas necesidades diferentes todos en una zona residencial común.
El plan seria unos módulos familiares sencillos que se asemejara lo más posible al domicilio y unos servicios comunes muy bien equipados, empezando por un comedor, áreas de esparcimiento y actividades de ambos colectivos mayores e hijos, con todo tipo de servicios como piscina exterior e interior, servicio medico y de enfermería, etc.
Los módulos residenciales a modo de vivienda se podrían diseñar a la medida de cada necesidad, así un modulo tipo seria un salón amplio y dos habitaciones con sus dos baños, garaje y trastero. Todos los módulos serian de fácil acceso, única planta baja, comunicados con una galería cerrada unos a otros y con las áreas comunes.
Las facilidades de movilidad, acceso y sencillez es lo más importante, toda la comunidad seria un área residencial pero con una gran autonomía y a la vez en función de la dependencia una gran accesibilidad a todos los servicios.
Seria importante el estudio de una primera etapa de aquellos padres mayores que tienen uno o más hijos autistas, la posibilidad de un COLIVING un diseño residencial modular en que puedan tener su residencia mientras puedan convivir con su hijo y con todos los servicios incluidos (comedor, tienda, lavandería, asistencia, espacio de esparcimiento y entretenimiento con piscina, gimnasio, área lúdica, huerto, etc. Pasada esa primera etapa el autista sin padres pasará a la residencia con todos esos mismos servicios en el mismo emplazamiento y con un ambiente ya conocido.
Sin embargo todo esto es un PROYECTO sin financiación no se conseguirá.
