Con 19 años debutó venciendo en el BMW 116 Trophy con el coche del Team BRIT, equipo creado por exsoldados heridos que ayuda a pilotos con discapacidad.

Bobby Trundley, nacido en Wokinham hace 19 años, lanza una proclama de vida que acompaña con un lema que lo define: “Soy autista y me encanta correr”.
Este joven que sueña con ser piloto profesional atesora muchos éxitos en el kárting y premios relevantes como el ‘Anna Kennedy OBE Autism Hero’ y el ‘Premio a la Excelencia en el Deporte en el Mundial de Autismo 2017’, donde representaba a Inglaterra.
Estudiante de la escuela de educación superior agrícola de Berkshire corre desde este año en el Team BRIT, equipo formado por exsoldados británicos heridos y fundado por el exmilitar e ingeniero Dave Player, que permite a personas con discapacidad competir en igualdad y cuyo objetivo son las 24 Horas de Le Mans.
Ha debutado en la cita inaugural de la copa monomarca Gaz Shocks BMW 116 Trophy, certamen organizado por el prestigioso ‘750 Motor Club’ cuyos miembros incluyen a ingenieros míticos de F1 como Colin Chapman, Derek Bennett o Gordon Murray.
¿El resultado? Bobby ganó la carrera.
